Welcome to my new blog. Spring is definitely in the air and I’m therefore looking forward to the new financial year by focussing on a few things that are really important to me. The Trust has updated its strategy – and its starting to be a really visible way to tell the story of where we want to be as we move forward – but without losing the sense of where we have come from as colleagues. I also reflect on the Tea and Talk sessions I’ve been running and the visit from Chris Hopson, the Chief Executive of NHS providers to our area recently. You can read my blog in the attached PDF. As with previous blogs, I’d appreciate it if you could share it within your teams, especially with colleagues who do not have access to a computer. I hope you find my blog useful. As always, if you have any questions, comments, suggestions etc., feel free to get in touch. I’m continuing to post regular updates on Twitter using the #NHSCEOfirstyear hashtag so do head over and take a look; you can find me @aaroncumminsNHS.
